Drago Gold is the sunflower head that raises the bar on harvest efficiency and durability. Olimac, a recognized leader in high-performance corn heads, has applied its engineering expertise to design a sunflower head that puts more grain in the tank and virtually eliminates downtime. Drago Gold's unique features will help you optimize your combine's power to achieve greater productivity at higher working speeds and more return on investment.

Features May Include:

The Gold Standard in Sunflower Harvest

MORE POWER, GREATER DURABILITY, MAXIMUM HARVEST EFFICIENCY

Block Gathering Chains

• Drago Gold features block gathering chains that are equipped with special rubber teeth which firmly hold the plant as it is cut and delivered to the auger without vibration, increasing yield capture.

Grease Points

• The Drago Gold is designed to simplify in-season maintenance. Only three grease points per chain on the row unit need to be greased once per season for the block chain drive, chain idler and knife drive.

Advanced Cutting System

• Two opposed tempered steel disks smoothly cut plants early in a forward position without shaking them, resulting in high cutting speed without vibrations and avoiding loss of grain with Drago Gold.

Massive Auger

• Drago Gold is equipped with the industry’s largest auger (20-in diameter) allowing higher forward speed with more capacity and efficiency. As a result of this exclusive feature, your combine can perform at its highest level. This auger also features a security clutch protecting itself from unseen obstacles.

Adjustable Adapters
OLIMAC EXCLUSIVE

• Drago Gold’s adjustable adapter allows you to maintain optimum working position regardless of the combine to capture more yield.

Gathering Chain Protection
OLIMAC EXCLUSIVE

• Drago Gold is the only sunflower head equipped with two radial slip clutches on the chain drives of each row unit, helping prevent damage from overloads on gathering chains and cutting disks for unmatched protection. Each clutch is completely sealed from external elements and bathed in oil, delivering significantly better protection with less maintenance.

Effortless Season-To-Season Chain Adjustment
OLIMAC EXCLUSIVE

• The gathering chains are easily adjusted with a simple bolt adjustment compared to the competition that requires manually pulling and holding the chain tight while setting.

In-Season Chain Tightener
OLIMAC EXCLUSIVE

• Chain tension is automatically tightened throughout harvest with a spring-loaded tensioner for worry-free chain operation.

Tank Bonnet

• Tank-shaped bonnets help capture any falling product, further reducing loss.

Protection Grid

• Drago Gold is equipped with a rear protection grid that keeps taller crops from being lost and is designed for better visibility.

Heavy Duty Drive

• Drago Gold is equipped with a high-performing, oil-bathed transmission that doesn’t require relubrication, decreasing chain wear and maintenance with total protection from impurities and foreign objects.
