With an outreach of maximum 84 metres and a load capacity of up to 300 tonnes, the BOS 7500 is an ideal crane for offshore service ships for installation and repair work. With the option of carrying counterweights at the rear, the bending torque can be reduced, which is particularly advantageous for the design of the ship's structure and the ballast configuration.

Features may include:

• The rope luffing is effected in a so-called A-frame design. This way the crane achieves optimal stability and reliability.

• Drive variants for operating the hydraulic system of the crane with integrated tank system, electric or hydraulic start system.

• The slewing platform is the basic element of the crane. In addition to the machine housing, it also houses the cab, the A-frame, as well as luffing winch.

• Operation without a loss of productivity is also possible when it is dark. Powerful LEDs and fluorescent lamps at the boom, slewing platform and the machine housing provide optimal lighting of the work environment and for inspecting the crane.

• The diesel tank is located in the machine housing and is easily accessible for refilling.

• Drive variants for operating the hydraulic system of the crane with integrated start-up system for limiting the starting current values.
